孩子ren’s Friend would like to thank the The Mabel A. Horne Fund, Bank of America, N.A., Trustee for their grant of $15,000 to support the Gender Wellness Initiative (GWI). GWI provides clinical mental health supports, resources and consultations, and support groups for youth who identify as transgender or gender expansive, as well as providing many of these supports for their caregivers. Another major component of the Gender Wellness Initiative is conducting workshops and trainings for staff in school systems, healthcare settings, and other youth-serving organizations to best serve  the sexual minority youth in their care.
